Even though I use this camera most of the time, it was really a "family" purchase. Cory and I did research and made the investment together a few years back. It came with a plain-jane yellow & black Nikon camera strap that was just no fun. I bought some ribbon to cover the strap - baby blue with white polka dots! Turns out it was just a little too feminine for my hubby to feel comfortable using. So I got out the seam ripper and removed the ribbon (I had actually sewn the ribbon directly onto the strap). I found this fun argyle fabric with a more gender neutral color story & got the hub's stamp of approval. This was a super easy & quick sewing project! The best part you ask? The new strap cover can be easily removed (it just slips right off!) if we get tired of it! I didn't even do any measuring - I just used the strap as a guide to cut my fabric. We both love the new strap cover!
