I finished a Valentine's wreath today, a project from RVA class. I'd really like to get more projects from these classes completed. Getting started is the hard part, of course. 
I had a pretty sweet start to my three-day weekend today! Slept in a little & cuddled with the dogs. Then I straightened up the house, had lunch & ran some errands. I had a great score of fabric at my local Hobby Lobby...and gotta love their 50% off sales on frames & such. I got these 2 Ashley G prints frames for a steal and can't wait to get them up on the wall. Next week our new couch is coming in...that's been a long time in coming and I'm super excited about it! I also got my hair trimmed & brows waxed...and I think I'm going to dye my hair a new color this weekend! The only bummer is that Cory came home after work with a migraine and immediately went right to sleep...movie night for me & then early to bed :)
I worked on an old RVA class project from last year tonight...I really like how it turned out! I still have yet to finalize the background & get a frame for it though. Remember the animal quiz? I thought since those descriptions were so accurate, these 2 animals would be a cute representation of us :) I am off work tomorrow...yay for 3 day weekends!!

This is a photo of my brothers and sisters and I many years ago. I think we got those giant crayons at a carnival or fair or something. We all all look pretty goofy...just like I remember it.
We had fun taking lots of pictures of Addison Grace today. She had a rather unreasonable fear of a heart-shaped foam wreath form we used...and to see her crumble when it was in view was actually pretty hilarious. And she really is the cutest, in her little pink tutu ♥
My niece Addie had tubes put in her ears yesterday. She had countless double ear infections and she is only 9 months old. I hope this makes her feel better! She's such a sweetheart :) I am looking forward to spending some time with her & taking her picture this weekend!

Did you know 2010 is the year of the tiger? This calendar by Amy Ruppel is charming. Tonight I think we're having Chinese food...I *LOVE* fortune cookies :) I actually have a small collection of my favorite fortunes. 
Confession: I watch too much TV :( Wednesday nights are my favorite because of Criminal Minds & CSI: NY :) I'm not really into any kind of reality or TV competition shows, though.

I saw this over on Freckled Nest a few days ago and thought I'd share mine! Not incredibly exciting...but you get the idea. Trying to enjoy the last few drops of weekend before return to reality again tomorrow....why are weekends always so short? Also, our pipes have frozen (seemingly on the outside of the house) and so we have no water. This is never a fun spot to be in. Hope I get a shower today! :)
We had chicken enchiladas tonight...I'll have to share that recipe soon, it's a really good one. Then for dessert I made snickerdoodles...there's just something about a spicy Mexican meal followed by something sweet with cinnamon. I was going to drizzle them with white chocolate, but after I tasted them I realized there was no need. They are amazing..find the recipe here.
